The brief consisted of adapting an existing residential building in Old Ikoyi to a Dental and Orthodontist Clinic. Larger spatial requirements for clinical rooms such as the Ortho-bay meant that the typically smaller residential spaces had to be collapsed into larger areas. Externally, a calculated introduction of long window bays in predetermined proportions altered the residential character, lending the building a more ‘clinical’ look.
